Description
I pulled over when I saw this Great Grey Owl perched on a fence post. While I was wondering whether I should get a little closer, it suddenly flew in and landed right next to my car. That stare though. It looked absolutely unimpressed with my big old Nikon lens pointed at it. What always amazes me about Great Grey Owls is how intensely focused they are while hunting voles. They can detect the slightest movement or sound in the grass and lock in with incredible precision before making their move.
